Mick Jagger has team up with Oscar-winning Indian musician AR Rahman for a new Album Superheavy which has a song sung by Mick Jagger in Sanskrit.

The fact that AR Rahman voiced for the song has brought about a great deal of interest among Indian audience.

Rahman told Press Trust of India, “Dave said AR [Rahman] we want your voice in this album… we want this to be a great Indian song too. A long dream for me to raise one of the morals of Indian culture which is Satyameva Jayate and make it as a song”

“This is historic… it is iconic in a way. I hope people will like it,” he said.

Jagger formed the band in May, saying that he “wanted a convergence of different musical styles”.

“It’s different from anything else I’ve ever been involved in,” Jagger told Rolling Stone magazine .

“The music is very wide-ranging – from reggae to ballads to Indian songs in Urdu.”

A wise Indian saying, whatever AR Rahman touches turns into gold. If that is true, then the SuperHeavy album is already a success.

The Album is all set to be released this September.

Actor Ravinder Kapoor, known as Goga Kapoor  passed away on Thursday morning. He was a veteran in Bollywood cinemas and probably the best villain in the film history.

His death is probably due to prolonged illness. He died on March 3,2011 in Mumbai, India at the age of 70.

Actor Gajendra Chauhan said, ” He was ailing for nearly six months. It was a natural death. He leaves behind his wife and three daughters. His youngest daughter Payal is an actor. He was one of the most active committee member of Cine Artistes Association.”

Goga started his career by working in English plays including one with Amitabh Bachchan while the latter got a break in films earlier, the Goga got his first break with Jwala in 1971. He acted in over 120 films.

He is mostly remembered as Dinkar Rao in Agneepath film and as the Don in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. His other notable works for which he is remembered include that in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and in Run.

Vivek Oberoi’s reception was a great success with stars and politicians joining them to greet the newly wed couple.

With busy weeks from office, i came across this wonderful movie called Endhiran which is a recent Indian release.

By reading Endhiran’s story, I just said Wow! This is the first Sci-fi movie that India has to offer. And i must admit this is one of the best movies that India has produced in its history of cinemas.

Which made me wonder. Who is Rajinikanth? Why is he so famous?

Rajinikanth is an veteran Indian actor, born in Karnataka and taking his acting career from Tamil movies. After reading an interesting article on yahoo, i understood him as a person who is a man of himself with no pride and anger.

He respects others let it be rich or poor, this factor of him attracts millions may be billions of fans towards him which constantly holds him the tag of  Indian Superstar.

Remarks trade analyst Taran Adarsh adds, ” Rajinikanth is the ultimate star of the masses. It’s not as if he’s unaware of his stardom but he’s warm, friendly and down-to-earth when you meet him. His humility shines through and this is what his fans pick up on.”

At the age of 60, he is now a Robot. Wonder what his next movie will be about. May be a pirate like Pirates of the Caribbean.

Sun Pictures releases Endhiran movie trailer. The movie sees  Indian Superstar RajniKanth as the lead role  and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the lead actress .

About the movie

The movie Endhiran is a Sci-fi movie where Rajnikanth plays the role of Scientist as well as a Robot. Just look the trailer and you will know what i meant.

Vivek Oberoi, a Bollywood star has confirmed that he is getting married to Priyanka Alva on October 29,2010.

Priyanka Alva, now fiancee of Vivek Oberoi, is the  daughter of the famed danseuse Nandini Alva and late Janata Dal (U) leader, Dr. Jeevaraj Alva.

“I feel that my prayers have been answered because Priyanka is such an amazing person. I was single for a long time and was looking for the right girl. Priyanka and I connected instantly!

Priyanka is cultured and spiritual. Apart from being a humanitarian and doing social work with NGOs, she’s also environmentally friendly and loves animals too. My wedding date has been finalised for October 29, 2010 and the other arrangements are being worked out at the moment.”

We all know how Vivek-Aishwarya controversy damaged Viveks Bollywood career. Its good that he is now looking forward to future and definitely Marriage is the best way to search a meaning for life.
