A new research carried out by Remington suggest that, “An Average British Woman go around with the same hairstyle for Six years and 153 days”

Wow! Same hairstyle for years. You got to be kidding me. Well, i guess it all goes down to how they look.  People by their nature will try different hairstyles in teen, if found a suitable style, they never leave it. British Woman are of no exception to that.

The research suggest the lack of confidence the woman folks have when it comes to looks. Forty per cent of style-stuck women think their hair needs a refresh, but are also deterred by salon prices, according to the poll carried out by Remington.

“There’s nothing wrong with having a consistent image that you’re comfortable with, but many women would like to be a bit braver and refresh their image now and again,” the Daily Express quoted Nikki McReynolds, marketing director for Remington, as saying.

“It seems the biggest barrier is worrying about how other people will react or whether the new look will suit. If bored or unhappy with their current style, women can build their self-confidence gradually by experimenting with small changes, rather than drastically altering their image,” McReynolds stated.

A large metal ball from space has crash landed in Namibia. It just fell out of the sky into some remote grassland. Authorities in Namibia have contacted NASA and the European Space Agency requesting them to investigate this alien object.

The hollow ball with a circumference of 1.1 metres (43 inches) was found near a village in the north of the country some 750 kilometres (480 miles) from the capital Windhoek, according to police forensics director Paul Ludik.

Locals had heard several small explosions a few days beforehand, he said.

With a diameter of 35 centimetres (14 inches), the ball has a rough surface and appears to consist of “two halves welded together”.

It was made of a “metal alloy known to man” and weighed six kilogrammes (13 pounds), said Ludik.

It was found 18 metres from its landing spot, a hole 33 centimetres deep and 3.8 meters wide.

Several such balls have dropped in southern Africa, Australia and Latin America in the past twenty years, authorities found in an Internet search.

The sphere was discovered mid-November, but authorities first did tests before announcing the find.

Police deputy inspector general Vilho Hifindaka concluded the sphere did not pose any danger.

“It is not an explosive device, but rather hollow, but we had to investigate all this first,” he said.

Maybe this could be a spaceship. Well, lets not speculate and let the experts analyze and come to conclusions. There is high probability that it is man-made.

Dead Snake found in the Birthday Cake leaves cake lovers in astonishment.

A man from Allahabad,India purchased a Birthday Cake for his daughter not knowing what lies in  the cake.

Holy cow, i am shocked. Normally we add Flour, Egg, Sugar, Baking soda, salt as the ingredients to prepare the cake, but the shop which gave the man the birthday cake has added a snake.

lol! I think it  definitely must have been an accident. Who in the right mind would add a snake in the Cake!!!!

I believe the root of this incident, will be the carelessness by the manufacturer.

Che, People buy their products in hope that the product is well made and hygienic. This incident however, would make even a Cake lover wonder on whether to buy cake next time

Anyway, the incident has made an internet sensation.What will be your first reaction if you find a dead snake in your cake..?

A Giant Snail also known as Albino Snail nicknamed “Milky Bar snail” has been found in New Zealand by a group of  hikers. With this find, the Snail becomes only the second in the recorded history of  white Snails.

The  Snail ‘Powelliphanta’, is meat eating Carnivores usually preying on Earthworms and sometimes on slugs. These type of snails are found in New Zealand and are considered extremely rare.

“Our group had seen three or four snails already that morning as it had rained and they’d come out in the wet conditions,” said hiker Bill Brough, of Motueka.

“Then I saw the white snail and went wow! We were excited to see it, knowing how extraordinary it was.”

Good Lord, this is amazing.

Photos taken by the Waimea Tramping Club show the Powelliphanta  hochstetteri had a characteristic golden brown-spiralled shell but a body that was glowing white rather than the usual deep black colour.

Department of Conservation Powelliphanta expert Kath Walker says in more than 30 years studying the native snails it is only the second albino she has seen.

“I was curious and interested to see the albino snail as it is exceptional to come across one,” she said.

“From the photos it looks to be an adult snail at least 10 years old and I am amazed it has survived this long. Its white body would make it clearly stand out to be picked off by weka [a flightless bird] or other predators.”

A man aged 46 year from Brigham City, Utah who is not named in local news reports on the incident–got a behind-full of birdshot courtesy of his loyal canine companion when he was out duck hunting over the weekend.

KSL.com reports the man and his dog were traveling in a canoe-like boat when the man stepped out into a shallow marsh to set up some decoys. His left his 12-gauge shotgun resting across the bow of the boat, according to Box Elder County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Potter.

That’s when the dog “did something to make the gun discharge,” Potter said. “I don’t know if the safety device was on. It’s not impossible the dog could have taken it off safety.”

Apparently excited to join his owner in the marsh, the dog jumped up on the boat’s bow and stepped on the gun. The gun was fired, hitting the man in the buttocks with 27 pellets of birdshot.

The man promptly called 9-1-1, and is now reportedly recovering. Potter said that thanks to a well-positioned pair of waders–the hip-length rubber boots he was wearing at the time–the dog owner was able to avoid a more serious gunshot wound.

Neil Parry of Darwin spent three days in jail last year after he was arrested at Darwin Airport and accused of trafficking liquid ecstasy. His boat and two friends’ houses were searched.

But his two bottles of Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner contained exactly what the labels said.

Our Take

I think, the image is  photo shopped.

I knew, M K Gandhi as a Man of Character.  Yes, there is a bits in the history that he was a little out of course at his young age.

Gandhi, the Man, was the man of Character.  He was a lawyer in profession, ofcourse the general users would know this, he left his job and sacrificed his life for the Poor of India.

He then, goes on to abolish all foreign made cloth wears, and started wearing a cloth type called  Khadi, which then become the mark of Indian Freedom struggle.

If you relate when Gandhi started to wear the khadi which he is wearing in the image above, he had already became a well known leader for not just Indians but for all over the world.

To relate some one with such character to the pic above. I think is baseless.
