Tim Tebow hurt and Injured!!!

Posted by Shane On September - 26 - 2009ADD COMMENTS

Tim-Tebow-Injury-150x150This is breaking news on Tim Tebow injury. Gators quarter back and possibly the best one in college today injured himself when deciding what to do with the ball. Tebow literally got slammed by the Kentucky defense and took a hard blow on his head.

One could make out shocked faces among the legions of Gator fans. The Florida number one team were out of state, and in Kentucky grounds when Tim Tebow took a big slam dunk from Kentucky defensive player Taylor Wyndham.

Tim Tebow’s head bumped against the shin of Florida right tackle Marcus Gilbert as Tebow hit the ground. The slam was so bad that Tebow lay motionless for a few minutes before he sat up on the ground. Subsequently after that Tebow was assisted off the field to the bench. Here Tebow was joined by his parents who were concerned about his safety.

While on the benches, Tebow was seen vomiting and throwing up. There were also reports that he was taken by the ambulance to the hospital for check up.

Tim Tebow’s quarter back position was filled in by second starter John Brantley.

If you are a Gators fan, and you have any other info regarding this incident, please post it below. Convey your best wishes to Tim Tebow for speedy recovery as well.

Here is the you tube video on the accident

Michelle Wie’s Blog-Black Flamingo

Michelle-Wie

Michelle wie’s blog is now available in net

Michelle’s blog is pretty new, just started this month and has only 10 entries so far, but it’s one of those blogs which would be interesting even if it were not being written by a famous golfer like Michelle Wie.

OK, let’s be honest, it isn’t about to dethrone the Instapundit, it’s not going to get her a well paid job at the Washington Post like Ezra Klein managed, but it is indeed interesting.

Michelle Wie’s blog is called “Black Flamingo” and can be found here. There’s a nice corny joke right here.

For those who get a little pitter patter in the heart or perhaps lower down when considering the young Ms. Wie she takes us through the making and modelling of a sking tight leatherette dress right here. (I guess there must be large amounts of time to spare on the golfing circuit).

Michelle Wie also shows a certain talent for calligraphy and the classical forms of Asian art here.

All in all it’s an impressive span of interests for someone who you would think has been doing nothing but play golf since the age she could hold a club. Michelle Wie’s blog, definitely worth a look.

Serena WilliamsOh Boy, Serena williams is back again in Breaking news but for wrong reasons.  Serena Williams has lost all her temper in the latest Semi Final match of the US open.

The incident occured during her Semi-Final match with Kim Clijsters, with Serena being called for a foot fault during her second serve. She then approached the line judge with a barrage of abuse, which led to a code violation against her, causing her to lose the point and match to Clijsters.

As you can see in the video, Serena certainly doesn’t hold back in her choice of words, although they have been censored by the TV broadcasters.

I have added the video below, have a look at it

Gulbis tennis

ernests-gulbis-tennis-elbow-roomThe 2009 US Open Tennis tournament began yesterday, and some good games have already been played. Britain’s Andy Murray play Latvian Ernests Gulbis in the first round of the US Open.

Murray Uses Patient Game to Beat Big-hitting Gulbis. Andy Murray played a patient, steady game to defeat big-hitting Ernests Gulbis of Latvia 7-5 6-3 7-5.

In the first set, Murray traded baseline blows with 95th-ranked Gulbis and the Latvian responded with wild misses and blistering winners and pushed the Scotsman to five set points before finally succumbing to a service break in the 12th game.

Andi Murray, runner-up last year (the champ was Roger Federer) in his first grand slam final, then varied his attack by mixing in forays to the net and took advantage of mounting mistakes from Gulbis, who had 51 unforced errors, 30 more than Murray.

Murray advanced to a second-round match against 87th-ranked Paul Capdeville of Chile.

The only two male tennis players who are believed to travel regularly on private jets are Roger Federer, the world No 1, the US Open champion for the past five seasons and the greatest racket-swinger of all time, and Ernests Gulbis, the world No 95 from Latvia.
