KingsXl punjab win their 3rd match of the IPL 2009. It was a nail bitter match between punjab and Mumbai Indians. The game started with Punjab winning the toss and opting to bat first for the 20th match of the IPL tournament in Durban.

The openers of punjab failed to perform with their bat and middle order of the team failed along with the top order. Lasith malinga bowled excellent deliveries for mumbai indians and was very hard to play him along having a figure of 2 for 12.  The lone man to stay at crease and perform was Srilankan wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara who played a crucial knock of 45 not out for punjab. Ramesh power helped him at the end by scoring 10 runs for 10 balls.

The pitch was reported to be very slow  and was judged to be tough for batting by the pitch reporters before the play started. Punjab team was confident to show a  good match and defend their total. The second innings began with the mumbai indians batting.

Irfan pathan strike at the beginning dismissing Jayasurya for 2 nd ball he bowled. Tendulkar was caught in the 2nd over  by Jayawardene for the bowling of  Malik. The punjab bowlers was perfect in bowling and limited mumbai from scoring the boundaries. As sangakkara for punjab,JP Duminy of mumbai batted superb and completed his half century. He was caught in the 20th over of the match trying to hit a 6. This was the turning point of the match and punjab managed to win a nail bitting match for  3 runs.

Swine flu, a deadlier flu that is threatening the world today has its origination from the pigs. This Flu has killed 149 and has sickened nearly 2000 people in Mexico. The Flu has already spread through many part of world  like USA,Canada,UK,NZ,Israel,European countries and some parts of Asia. The Swine Flu is the major concern for the World Health Organisation (WHO).

What is it?

Swine influenza is a respiratory disease of  pigs first isolated in swine in 1930, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Its is totally of 4 different types of the virus. But  the pigs that is affected with this swine does not  die  much. The death rate is low among the pigs.

Symptoms of infected pigs include fever,depression,barking,sneezing,difficulty breathing,red or inflamed eyes,lack of appetite and discharge from the nose or eyes.

How do people get infected?

People gets infected when they have direct contact with the pigs. But the cases where the disease gets transmitted from the infected person have also been documented. One of which is a case from 1988 A person infected by swine flu gets admitted in health care and transmits his disease to the workers working there.

Is swine a new type of flu or has it occured previously?

Yes, Swine flu has occured previously.CDC reports that every year 1 or 2 case is reported with swine flu disease and also from December 2005 to Feb 2009 12 cases of infected people were reported to the agency. The 11 infected people were reported to have a direct contact with the infected pig.

Symptoms of swine flu in the infected person

Symptoms are fever,lack of appetite,coughing,runny nose,sore throat,nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

How can it be diagnosed?

It can be diagnosed by collecting the respiratory specimen withing four to five days of illness,during this period will the infected person shed the virus After getting the specimen it is tested in lab to find whether the infection is due ot swine flu or not. In some cases the virus is reported to have been present for 10 days or even longer especially in children.

Is Medicines available for direct cure of Swine flu?

No,there is no direct medicines for treating the swine flu. But there are other antiviral drugs that can be used against swine virus like Tamiflu (the generic name for oseltamivir) and Relenza (the generic name for zanamivir) that appears to be effective against the flu.

We recommend it is better to prevent the catching  of the disease by just avoiding the gathering for some days. And be at home..

The prayers of thousands of Rajasthan royals fans and co-owner shilpa shetty has finally been answered with the win of their team in  a thriller against Delhi Daredevils. The star of the match is ofcourse Shane warne most trusted member Yusuf Pathan.

The match started with Delhi winning the toss and deciding to bat first against Rajastan royals at pretoria.The match begin with no delay at 8 pm IST. The luck which favoured the Delhi openers were missing as both of them went back to the pavillion very quickly.Sehwag was dismissed by AD Mascarenhas while Gambhir was out for a superb catch by Rajastan captain Shane warne for the bowling of AD Mascarenhas.

AB de Villers came to rescue by scoring his  half century against the royals  but  was lbw by Shane warne. And the team ended up with a total of 143 for 7 for 20 overs thanks to the crucial knock played by Daniel Vettori and Manhas.

Rajastan Royals who promised to show a good performance in their batting seems to have been failed yet again with the wickets falling  regurlarly at one end. South African Skipper Grame Smith seemed Solid in batting and kept his wicket. Amit Mishra was exceptional with his bowling for Delhi taking 3 wickets for 34. As all of his smart moves, Warne sent Yusuf deep down the batting  line up and allowed others to bat above him. Failing which by the middle order, Yusuf  pathan was finally seen on the ground.

Recently the father of Jamie Lynn Spears 10 month old baby, Maddie was injured in an accident when his truck flipped in Louisiana road. Casey Aldridge was visited by Jamie Lynn Spears today. Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey’s sister were sitting beside Casey’s bed where he was going in and out of consciousness.

The accident took place at 1:30 in the morning near Lake Bruin in Tensas Parish, LA. Casey, who had attended his cousin’s bachelor’s party was carrying several other party goers in his new F-250 to a new location when the accident happened, he drove off the shoulder of the road and flipped the vehicle.

Casey Aldridge has now been charged by the police for careless driving.

Casey is reported to have had a head injury and is recovering well now.

Sun microsystems has reported a huge loss which is more compared to the losses it posted last year. Last year the company reported a net loss of  $34 million on revenues of $3.27 Billion. This year the loss only seems to have dramatically increased to $201 Million on the revenues of $3.27 billion.

This news comes in light of Oracle announcing that it is going to buy the company for $7.1 Billion. Looks like the customers of Sun are not happy with it and they do seems to have lost trust in the company’s future developments. Previously IBM tried to take over the company but failed to reach an agreement.

But the reason of the losses can also be explained differently. It could be due to the credit crunch blues that many other companies are facing at this times of global recession. But what is more worrying is that it’s high end systems which use SPARC RISC chips fell by almost a third during the firm’s third quarter.

Sun’s sales of x86 architecture based systems also fell by fifth. But that’s in line with statements made by AMD’s CEO Dirk Meyer, who said in a financial conference call recently that few corporations and large organisations are prepared to spend on server systems right now.

The Asteriod that is assumed to have hit the earth and eliminated the dinosaurs from the world might have took place. But  a new discovery of the fossil found claims that few of the dinosaurs might have been escapsed from the catastrophe.

Boy now the scientist are in  big trouble in explaining the facts. So far the scientist claimed that the dinosaurs were extinct before 65 million years  by the asteriod effect. But the discovery of the fossil of some dinosaurs found on Ojo Alamo Sandstone in the San Juan Basin led them to eat their words on dinosaurs extinction theory.

Its hard to except though but the finding proclaim that  many dinosaurs escaped the catastrophe of asteriod and they survived for many years after the impact. Well now  there  is  yet another theory for the extinction of dinosaurs that was  given with the asteriod effect. Few of the scientist reckons that after the  asteriod impact, the climatic condition of the earth changed drastically bringing the earth to sudden cold that was hard to survive and dinosaurs died due to that.

Anyway this  latest finding has challenged the extinction date given by the scientist towards the dinosaurs era. To find out, chemical investigations was done  on the bones of the dinosaurs and the results did prove that dinosaurs survive the asteriod effect and was alive. Few now  believed that many of the dinosaurs were survived  half a millions  years after the impact  in the new mexico and Colorado.

The fossil remains of 34 hadrosaur bones of a dinosaur was found in a same  location and it is doubtless to be of the same animal.Some scientist say its possible  that the fossil of the dinosaurs that seems to be latest  was actually dig out by the river to the upper land. But if this is the case, we know that river cannot  take and  put the parts in exact locations ,how  will the scientist explains the bones that is found in same location.

“The river if truly involved in dig out might have scattered the bones to different location.”

And lately they believe that some 30 percent of the dinosaurs  might have escaped the asteriod impact and had live for some half a million year.But  this proves its unsure that all of the dinosaurs have been eliminated.

What if  few of the dinosaurs still survived  on this planet and is living far away from the human world. What if they are still present in the Amazan forest. No one know thats.  Scientist are facing tough time now with this discovery.
