Wipro technologies shocker!!!

Posted by Riz On April - 13 - 2009ADD COMMENTS

Its a real shocker from Wipro technologies.Wipro has given some good pleasure to 2008 batch passed out student but also a great shocker.

The postitive news from Wipro is that around 16000 people who get selected at 2008, a 8000 batch of people among them will be given call letters within this 2 months. This is the greatest part of the news.

The sad part is Wipro has decided to give only Rs.6000 to the people who got selected for first 2 months and if the candidates prove their skills and if required ,Wipro will place them in the company in different section.

Well this is a definite shocker from Wipro. India claimed that its companies are not hit by recession that is destroying World’s economy drastically..But the decision made by India’s leading IT company has really made the condition worse. It indicates that India is also jobless and facing the heat of recession.

Time to get down off the ledge. Put away the Eagles schedule. Forget about those calls to trade the entire team. This Phillies team of 2009 might actually know how to play some baseball.

Against the Rockies on Saturday, the Phillies showed that if you clog the bases, hit a few balls a long way, and get some decent pitching, you can actually win some baseball games.

Brett Myers turned in a signature performance – giving up four hits, three of them home runs. Thankfully, he walked only one and the only other hit was a double, so he gave up only 4 runs altogether. Ryan Madson and Brad Lidge pitched perfect 8th and 9th innings.

The plan worked as the hitters finally came alive. Ryan Howard and Jayson Werth had key hits and Raul Ibanez proved he’s this year’s April 2008 version of Pat Burrell. We’ll take it, as he has 2 of the team’s 3 home runs so far.

It’s an easy game. Hit a little, pitch a little, and you win games. Today the Phils can actually win a series in early April. Whodathunkit?

Tennis King Roger Federer has finally wed his long waited girlfriend.Roger federer who is world number 2 at present met with Mirka Vavrinec during the  olympics games in 2000.

“It was a beautiful spring day and an incredibly joyous occasion,” the 27-year-old Swiss told in his website. And the couple is now expecting a child.

Since october last year federer has not won any titles. And he played poorly to lose the match against Novak Djokovic in Miami

Federer was due to take part in a tournament Monte Carlo Masters next week and is about to play the opening match of  the clay- court tournament.Actually federer was to skip this tournament due to scheduling reasons  but made his mind at the moment considering his recent form and his losses.

Rafael Nadal is also in the tournament.Rafael was originally called the King of clay. Man i am definitely waiting to watch the dual finals between Federer and Nadal.

If Nadal wins the tournament, he will attain and record 5th straight win. This makes the tournament more special. I think only to stop Nadal win the 5th tournament this year did Federer choose to play. Let’s hope for the best.

USA strengthening UN council

USA strengthening UN council a good future. The UN human rights  council president welcomes Washington bid to join the 3 year old council as a development. The USA  state department announced that the obama administrator would want a seat  in the body which was shunned by the ex president George bush ,“with the goal of working to make it a more effective body to promote and protect human rights.”

Nigerian ambassador Martin Uhomoibhi said in a statement released in Geneva,“I am very encouraged,” where the 47-state Council is based. “I warmly welcome the engagement.”

The Human Rights Council aims “to prevent abuses, inequity and discrimination, protect the most vulnerable and expose perpetrators.”The United States decided not to join the Council at its inception in 2006 fearing it would not pursue issues in a balanced manner. But Washington took a step toward rapprochement last month by participating as an observer and urging it to address all violations of rights worldwide.

Uhomoibhi said U.S. diplomats had “contributed constructively and positively” to the body’s work. “Should the U.S. become a full-fledged member of the Council I am confident they would continue to provide valuable input,” he said.

The next election for Council seats will be in May. Its current roster includes Azerbaijan, China, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Cuba, Djibouti, India, Mexico, Russia and Egypt.
