After 7 years of war in Iraq, the American President has  announced that Operation Iraqi Freedom now comes to an end.

“Operation Iraqi Freedom is over, and the Iraqi people now have lead responsibility for the security of their country,” he said, according to the excerpts.

The president addressed the economic crisis in America by talking about how restoring prosperity at home is critical to maintaining the nation’s strength abroad. Obama said getting the economy back on track is his “central responsibility as president,” according to the excerpts.

“Today, our most urgent task is to restore our economy, and put the millions of Americans who have lost their jobs back to work,” the president said.

Obama said ending the war in Iraq is in the United States’ best interest and “now, it is time to turn the page.”

“Through this remarkable chapter in the history of the United States and Iraq, we have met our responsibility,” the excerpts said.

Glenn Bleck opens The blaze website

Posted by Shane On August - 31 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

Glenn Beck all set to open his new website the blaze where he is sure to criticize, that is, give insight of all the incidents which he finds interesting.

Welcome, Glenn Beck, you will probably be one among the billion to have a own webpage.

Glenn Back quoted “the blaze will be a place where you can find breaking news, original reporting, insightful opinions and engaging videos about the stories that matter most.”

The Blaze will be edited by Scott Baker, formerly of Breitbart TV, who told Mediaite that the site plans “news and information… commentary and opinion stories we’re interested in that are being under-covered or not covered.”

Beck said he was frustrated with the way the media covered his “Restoring Honor” rally this weekend.

“Too many times we see mainstream media outlets distorting facts to fit rigid agendas,” he wrote on The Blaze. “Not that you’ve ever heard me complain about the media before. Okay, maybe once or twice. But there comes a time when you have to stop complaining and do something. And so we decided to hire some actual journalists to launch a new website.”

Beck added that the website “will be about current news — and more. It’s not just politics and policy. It’s looking for insight wherever we find it. We’ll examine our culture, deal with matters of faith and family, and we won’t be afraid of a history lesson.”

Whatever, unless it doesnt encourage any rumors , the website will be great :)

For people who believe  Search Engine optimization will help you to get placed in the first page of Google.

I want you guys to ask yourself a question, SEO promises you that they will place you in the first page of google. Like you, they would have promised a million people the same thing.

How many promises would they fulfill? of course Only one, if they really place your site  in the Google search engine, then the remaining million promises given to  other people will be void.

They may tell you, the Keyword place crucial role, but just think for a sec, similar to your site, many other sites may have used the same keywords and would have approached them.

To make the topic interesting, Let’s hear what Google support have to say,

According to Google Support,

No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.

“Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings, allege a “special relationship” with Google, or advertise a “priority submit” to Google. There is no priority submit for Google. In fact, the only way to submit a site to Google directly is through our Add URL page or by submitting a Sitemap and you can do this yourself at no cost whatsoever.”

See! I think this post would definitely have helped you to understand the basic information on Google Search Engine.

Anne Hathaway new hair cut is just a wig

Posted by Shane On August - 31 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

Just days before Anne Hathaway’s new haircut was  a heated trend. It was so exciting to see Anne Hathaway’s haircut. She looked so cute.

It has been found out that her new haircut is not really an haircut but an excellent wig. Anne has deceived people by her new looks. I certainly felt she was hot.

I am just curious to know whether she is not challenging Emma Watson on who rules.

Google introduces Priority Inbox for its users

Posted by Shane On August - 31 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

Google today officially introduced the beta version of Priority Inbox for its users.

What is Priority Inbox? How will it benefit me?

If you are getting 100′s of email from friends and colleagues, then this new application will surely benefit you.

Some users have requested google that they are getting 100′s of email from friends and its not spam but its hard for them to keep up with all the emails.

In reply to their queries, Google created this application that you enable you to see the important emails at the top of the inbox. All other less important emails will still be present in the inbox.

Hear of from Google’s official blog,

People tell us all that time that they’re getting more and more mail and often feel overwhelmed by it all. We know what you mean—here at Google we run on email. Our inboxes are slammed with hundreds, sometimes thousands of messages a day—mail from colleagues, from lists, about appointments and automated mail that’s often not important. It’s time-consuming to figure out what needs to be read and what needs a reply. Today, we’re happy to introduce Priority Inbox (in beta)—an experimental new way of taking on information overload in Gmail.

Gmail has always been pretty good at filtering junk mail into the “spam” folder. But today, in addition to spam, people get a lot of mail that isn’t outright junk but isn’t very important—bologna, or “bacn.” So we’ve evolved Gmail’s filter to address this problem and extended it to not only classify outright spam, but also to help users separate this “bologna” from the important stuff. In a way, Priority Inbox is like your personal assistant, helping you focus on the messages that matter without requiring you to set up complex rules.

Mark Ingram suffers Knee injury

Posted by Shane On August - 31 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

It’s never good news to hear that a player has been injured, but this will certainly make Nittany Lion fans choke back a little smile. Alabama’s reigning Heisman-Trophy-winning running back suffered a knee injury in practice on Monday.

Alabama running back Mark Ingram suffered a knee injury late in Monday’s practice, coach Nick Saban announced in a statement Tuesday, and has been ruled out for Saturday night’s season opener against San Jose State.

Ingram, who last year became the first Crimson Tide player to win the Heisman Trophy, had “an arthroscopic procedure” done Tuesday morning, according to the statement.

“It was a situation where everyone involved thought it would be better to take care of now, so he would not have any issues with it later in the season,” Saban said.

All that is known for now is that Ingram will sit out week one. After that he’s day-to-day so there’s a good chance he could come back when Penn State travels to Tuscaloosa on September 11.

Alabama is still Alabama, and they are loaded with talent. But playing them without Mark Ingram, or even Mark Ingram at 50%, only helps Penn State’s chances.
