Scams, the most serious issue in the history of  internet, has now become a daily activity thanks to the coming of  new users who are falling for the traps set by the scammers.

In the end, a major question arises ” How do i protect myself from scams” and  how can i avoid being a victim?

GMail Blog has an article for this subject through which Google has intended to help out its GMail Users.

Phishing messages are a form of spam that attempt to deceive recipients in order to gain access to their personal information. Starting today, Gmail will automatically display more information about the origin of certain messages you receive so you can be better informed and protect yourself from getting tricked. If someone fakes a message from a sender that you trust, like your bank, you can more easily see that the message is not really from where it says it’s from.

Whenever you receive a message from someone who isn’t already in your Gmail contacts, the header will now show the sender’s email address like this:

Websites sometimes send emails on behalf of someone, like when your friend Mike sends you an article from abc.com using one of the site’s “Share this story” links. Gmail will now show this information more prominently:

Gmail will also automatically detect suspicious messages and display a warning when it looks like someone may have spoofed a Gmail address (we do this by evaluating the message’s authentication data).

If you determine that an email is a phishing attempt, please let us know by reporting it (you can always do this by clicking the down arrow next to “Reply” at the top-right of the message and selecting “Report phishing”).

Tennis Sensation Roger Federer’s hopes of a seventh Wimbledon title are over after Jo-Wilfried Tsonga’s superb comeback ended the third seed’s campaign in five sets.

The Swiss born player, who was looking comfortable after winning 2 sets of the match lost the remaining 3 sets 3-6 6-7 (3-7) 6-4 6-4 6-4  to the energetic Jo.

Jo Wilfried self-belief has made him through with a win.  He has earned the victory and deserves an applause for his comeback.

Tsonga will now play Novak Djokovic in his first Wimbledon semi-final, while Federer was left to reflect on another quarter-final defeat after last year’s loss to Tomas Berdych.

“Except the score, many things went right,” said Federer after his defeat.

“I was pretty pleased with my performance today and at least it took a special performance to beat me. He played an amzing match and didn’t give me much hope.”

Huh?, I know I am bit late to announce this. But I was kinda doing some research on the Playbook,trying to find out how actually is the Blackberry Playbook better then the its competitors viz., Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom, Apple iPad and of course lets not forget HTC Flyer.

Apart from these there are of course some other tablets from Acer, Asus, Panasonic, Lenovo, LG etc.

There is of course something missing, Playbook does not support 3G data connectivity. You can go online only via WiFi. The same is with Samsung Galaxy Tab, it runs on Android 2.2(Froyo).

Blackberry Playbook on the other hand is powered by its own OS. The Blackberry OS designed for its tablets.

Motorola Xoom comes with a 3G sim slot. But it is way more expensive for that tiny little feature, not to forget its screen size is 10.1 inch. But Xoom is powered by Android 3.1(HoneyComb), this is the first OS by Android specifically designed for Tablets. So its just going to make your tablet experience more enjoyable and easy.

Playbook is priced at 16GB – $499, 32GB – $599 and 64GB – $699.

Whereas Motorola Xoom is priced at $799 without any Verizon plans.

I guess that it with the Blackberry Playbook. Its seems quite competitive. But since its on a new OS, we’ll have to wait for reviews of OS as well and some time (to detect bugs) before we can jump into Playbook.

James Bond marries in real life!!!  Confused?  Daniel Craig who is the lead icon in the James Bond movies have married Rachel Weisz this Friday in upstate New York.

Craig, 43, and Weisz, 41, costar in the upcoming horror film Dream House, which will hit theaters in September 2011.

After nine years together, Weisz split with Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky in November 2010. The former couple share a five-year-old son, Henry. Just one month after their breakup, Weisz and Craig were spotted packing on the PDA during a holiday weekend in the Englsh countryside town of Somerset.

Daniel Craig was married previously married to actress Fiona Loudon from 1992 to 1994. The former spouses have one daughter together, Ella, 19. Craig and longtime girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell split in early 2010.

We wish them (Craig and Weisz)  good luck and hope they stay together for a long ages to come.

The corpse of Mukhametzyanov

None of us could imagine waking up in a coffin. It could be our worst nightmare. A 49-year-old Russian women who was declared dead woke-up in her coffin only to die 12-minutes later.

Fagilyu Mukhametzyano, was pronounced dead after she collapsed at her home after suffering from a heart attack.

Her spouse Fagili made all the arrangements for her funeral. But it seems, Fagilyu was not dead. She woke-up in her coffin listening to mourners around her praying for her soul. Shocked, she started to scream.

Fagili immediately took his wife to the hospital, but she lived only for another 12 minutes in Intensive care. It is believed that she died of shock.

“Her eyes fluttered and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital but she only lived for another 12 minutes in intensive care before she died again, this time for good,” Fagili said.

As to be expected, Fagili is upset about his wife’s unusual fate.

“I am very angry and want answers. She wasn’t dead when they said she was and they could have saved her,” Fagili said.

Today was probably one of those exciting day when Legends from different field met and shared their time with each other.

Sachin Tendulkar, the cricketing legend, whose record might perhaps never be broken if even by Sachin himself, was one among the cheerful crowd at the Wimbledon Championships match. We also had Former Grand Slam champion Martina Navratilova present at the crowd watching the match.

Roger Federer, the tennis legend, who has more number of grand slams in his belt than any other tennis  player, whose record of winning straight six tournament is perhaps will remain unbroken for decades to come, was at the center of the court  preparing for the match with David Nalbandian.

When Sachin Tendulkar presence was felt by the fans with his introduction , the crowd went crazy and started cheering for him.

Is it said that when too Icons met, the air goes tense and cold. However, Roger Federer kept himself patient and secured an easy win over David Nalbandian.

It is reported that both Sachin and Federer had dinner together after the match

Sachin tweeted, “Spent an hour with Roger Federer chatting on the balcony of Wimbledon Royal box. What a humble guy! And by the way he knows a lot about cricket!!”

Federer  talked about his meeting with Tendulkar on his facebook page.

“Today was a special day, played a good match and had the chance to catch up with the great indian cricket star Sachin Tendulkar,” read the status message on his facebook page.

With the announcement of Pottermore, JK Rowling has sure given an hint to drive back the millions, may be billions of potter fans to her own premises.

Harry Potter, an epical novel that drove the world in one song for last 10 years is now about to be concluded. With this historical end, the loyal potter fans who have been following the series via Unofficial potter supporting websites like Mugglenet, are now going to be left alone.
