What a national disgrace! The players who were treated highly by the cricket lovers  has left the fans in shame after the Spot Fixing scandal broke out against them.

The news was first reported by News of the world channel that claimed the video footage of Pakistani players Mohammed Amir, Mohammed Asif and Salman Butt meeting a bookie named Mazhar Majeed.

The matter of the spot-fixing became more interesting when the channel aired the footage with the pics of all the three players meeting the bookie.

Investigating on the terms, ICC CEO Haroon Lorgat says, ” ICC still sees the players as suspect. But if the charges were proved by law then swift action will be taken to save the integrity of the game.”

He further adds, ” ICC has zero tolerance when it comes to Match Fixing.

After reports broke out that England Players refuse to play against the match fixing players, the ICC was forced to suspend the three players.

Meanwhile, Pakistan cries foul on the whole issue, adding,”this is a conspiracy against them by India. The bookie Mazhar Majeed belonged to Indian RAW agency and India is planning to make ICC ban pakistan cricket team for 3 to 5 years.”

I think pakistan is correct in the last line, if proved guilty ICC will be forced to take strict discipline action against pakistan where match fixing has become common in players as one drinks water for living.

Its disappointing you know to see the youngsters such as Mohammed Amir who is just 18 years of age fall to the bookie. After seeing his matches, I thought he would have become a great player in the cricketing history. Alas, Mr. Amir thinks the other way.

In future, i surely would predict the livelihood of the  suspected players will be affected to the core.

If  the players were found guilty then they should serve a jail term which would tell every players in the world that  “Match Fixing cannot be tolerated”.
