Catherine Zeta, the beautiful 41-year-old actress  checked into a mental health care center this Wednesday for  treatment of a bipolar disorder.

A spokeswoman for Zeta-Jones says that “after dealing with the stress of the past year,” the 41-year-old actress “made the decision to check into a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her bipolar II disorder.”

Publicist CeCe Yorke says Zeta-Jones is “feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films.”

The stress for Zeta-Jones has been perpetuated by her husband, Michael Douglas’, brave battle with throat cancer since last August.

“Catherine was friendly to everyone and seemed very down to earth,” the source said.

“She at all of her meals in the dining room with the others – and even played poker with them at night before bed.

“Catherine is taking control of her life and getting better.”

Actress Emily Deschanel is pregnant. The Bones actress, 34, is expecting her first child with husband David Hornsby, her rep confirms to UsMagazine.com.

Deschanel and writer-actor Hornsby — who plays Matthew “Rickety Cricket” Mara on FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia — began dating in 2007. The couple tied the knot in a private L.A. ceremony on September 25, 2010.

Deschanel’s younger sister, Your Highness star Zooey Deschanel, is excited about her sister’s news.

Lol, we feel if Lindsay could restrict herself from drugs and alcohols and adopt a normal citizen life she might come back to normal. Just changing her name or dropping a part of her name will not help her to overcome the social damage that has already been done to her with the famous rehab story last year.

Lindsay Lohan's case to be further investigated

The Riverside County district attorney’s office wants another investigation before deciding whether Lindsay Lohan will be charged with battery for last month’s skirmish with a Betty Ford Center rehabilitation technician.

Prosecutors and investigators met Wednesday and decided that the office’s investigators will further probe Lohan’s alleged skirmish with rehab worker Dawn Holland, said John Hall, spokesman for the district attorney’s office.

Lohan is accused of tussling with Holland after the 24-year-old actress returned to the rehab center past curfew on Dec. 12 and refused Holland’s request to take a Breathalyzer test.

Police said earlier this month that Lohan violated her probation and wanted her charged with battery. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has said Lohan will be jailed if she violates probation. Her next scheduled hearing before the judge is Feb. 25.

We learned through a video obtained by TMZ, the famous singer smoking a bong during a party at her L.A.-area home on November 28.

According to TMZ sources, the smoke inside the bong is a natural — and legal — herb called salvia, which has psychedelic qualities. (Possession of salvia is legal in California.)

With Bush music blaring in the background, the Last Song actress then mistakenly identifies one of the party’s guests as her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth.

“Oh my God! He looks so much like him! He looks so much like Liam,” Cyrus giggles. Unable to convince her pal, she asks, “Is that me tripping? He doesn’t look like Liam at all? Dude, that looks just like Liam!”

The video was likely copied or stolen from Cyrus’ friend’s camera, TMZ adds.

Emma Watson does not understand why people are treating the end of the Harry Potter series as a bad omen as she is eagerly waiting for new opportunities.

The 20-year-old actress, who starred as wizard kid Hermione Granger in the franchise for more than ten years said that she was sad but at the same time felt a huge sense of relief as she can’t wait to see what future holds for her, Contactmusic reported.
