My Generation bites the dust!

The network is halting production on the Thursday night drama series. What will take its place as the lead in for “Grey’s Anatomy” is not yet clear.

After a poor premiere week opening, “My Generation” fell 31% for its second episode last night, to 3.9 million viewers and a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating.

The network’s other struggling drama, Wednesday night legal series “The Whole Truth,” is expected to get a third week at bat.

“My Generation” marks the second network series to get the axe this week, the first was Fox’s “Lone Star.” In addition to “Whole Truth,” NBC’s Friday night drama “Outlaw” is also on the bubble if it doesn’t improve.

ABC has been struggling to find a replacement for “Grey’s Anatomy”, so far they have canceled 2 shows in the process.

The End of Bieber Fever?

Is justin Bieber losing it ?

Is justin Bieber losing it ?

Looks like Justin Bieber is losing his charm. The popular craze among teens, termed as ‘Bieber Fever’ seems to be weakening.

Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber’s guest-starring role in Thursday night’s “CSI” season opener failed to propel the show to big numbers.

While “CSI” won its timeslot with 14.7 million viewers, it was widely expected that Bieber’s appearance, in what’s supposed to be a continuing storyline, would propel the show to better-than-average viewership.

Indeed, when pop star Taylor Swift guest-starred on “CSI” in March 2009, the show pulled in nearly 21 million viewers and also finished first in adults 18-49.

Peanut_Butter_and_Jam_Buddy_SquaresPeanut butter and jam sandwich in the UK, Canada and Australia, is a sandwich that includes a layer of peanut butter and either jelly or jam on bread, commonly between two slices, but sometimes eaten open faced, that is, with peanut butter and jam or jelly on each of two slices, eaten without putting the two slices together and without folding each slice of bread.

Peanut butter is a food paste made primarily from ground roasted peanuts, with or without added oil. It is popular throughout the world and is also manufactured in some emerging markets. Its primary use is as a sandwich spread.

In some types of gourmet peanut butter, chocolate or other ingredients may be added. Various nut butters are also made from other nuts.

Jam contains both fruit juice and pieces of the fruit’s (or vegetable’s) flesh, however some cookbooks define Jam as cooked and gelled fruit (or vegetable) purees.

Properly, the term jam refers to a product made with whole fruit, cut into pieces or crushed. The fruit is heated with water and sugar to activate the pectin in the fruit. The mixture is then put into containers.

The peanut butter and jelly sandwich is very popular with both adults and children in the US and Canada. A 2002 survey showed the average American will have eaten 1,500 of the sandwiches before graduating from high school.Jars of pre-mixed
peanut butter and jelly
are commercially available for making these sandwiches.

Taylor Swift’s Painful Childhood memories

Taylor Swift performing live in 2007

Taylor Swift the biggest selling artist of 2008 in USA. She has a combined sales of over 4 Million Albums. Tylor Swift says she has always loved “sparkly things,” now who doesn’t ? Well but her love for them seems to always get her into trouble on Independence Day when she was a child. (Did she steal ‘sparkly things’?, lol hope not)

Well guess what, she made this confession today on Independence Day(July 4th). Thats really nice of her to share a few of her childhood memories with her fans on the exact date they have happened.

So what exactly did she do ? She wrote in Myspace Celebrity Blog, “I was always that little kid who would run around picking up used sparklers off the ground and I would inevitably pick up the SCALDING HOT BURNING end that was still smoldering, Then cue the screaming bloody murder in front of everyone and running into the house to ice your hand.”

Though it sound painful, it must have been really funny ;) . Taylor Swift who is 19 years old now also reacalls watching the adults “shaking their heads because they saw you do the same thing last year.”

She also said,”Gotta love humiliating childhood memories, Wish me luck this year. I think I’m gonna wear gloves.

Human’s takes things in optimistic manner claims a recent survey that was conducted over 150,000 adults throughout 140 countries. It says that though life of people living standards is difficult, people always are optimistic and in hope that their future will be good.

This sounds correct. Imagine whatever happens in one’s current life  he or she will think that tommorrow will be good from this bad day. This is exactly what the survey says. The survey reveals that around 90 percent people think that their next 5 years will be good than their past years. And 89 percent people believe that their next 5 years will be good then their current life.

“These results provide compelling evidence that optimism is a universal phenomenon,” said Matthew Gallagher, a psychology doctoral candidate at the University of Kansas and lead researcher of the study.

This optimistic nature of human being help them survive in very worst situation of life like war, global disease, stress, etc.,
