Lindsay Lohan’s new statement “Call me just Lindsay” has caused a great deal of buzz among her fans and social media folks.

Lindsay Lohan, oops , Lindsay plan to drop her father name after her name is not a surprise to Dina Lohan (mother of Lindsay) . She said to popeater “Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and just going by Lindsay”.

Dina Lohan further adds, her 24 year-old daughter had been thinking about dropping her last name for some time. The infamous 2010 TV ad for online brokerage E*Trade, featuring a baby as “that milkaholic Lindsay”, is the moment when she actually felt this is it.

Why Lindsay wanted to drop her last name anyway?

Lindsay feels that her estranged father Michael Lohan, who was charged earlier this week with assaulting his girlfriend and who has a history of run-ins with the law  might be the damaging factor for her personal as well as career life.

Lol, we feel if Lindsay could restrict herself from drugs and alcohols and adopt a normal citizen life she might come back to normal. Just changing her name or dropping a part of her name will not help her to overcome the social damage that has already been done to her with the famous rehab story last year.

However, Wirefly’s recent you-tube release of HTC Thunderbolt unboxing has raised a buzz all around the web.

Google’s new logo is speeding and spreading a buzz all across the internet.

Sure, it’s nothing new for Google to change its logo, but today’s variation is particularly interesting because it’s in motion. Dozens of dots or balls makes up the standard blue, red, yellow, and green logo today. When you first load up Google.com, these dots are scattered all over the place but quickly fall into the Google logo. But when you move your mouse anywhere near this logo, the dots freak out and jump all over the page.

The posting about the logo on Hacker News states that it’s using an HTML/JavaScript particle simulator. Further, one comment notes that “the particles are divs styled with border-radius and position:absolute.”

A few other interesting notes:

• If you move the browser window around, the balls also move. These movements are based on the direction you move the window.
• If you have a custom background installed on your Google homepage, you’ll see a blue-red-yellow-green grid of dots next to the Google logo — clicking on this will take you to the regular white Google homepage where you’ll see the dots in action.
• When you click back to the Google.com after being away, the dots recognize that.

A number of people are noting they can’t see the logo, so you should try visiting the U.S. or British versions of Google to see it.

As for what the logo means, that’s still is up in the air. Some think it’s a way for Google to show you if your browser is out of date. Others think it’s some sort of birthday logo (Google was incorporated on September 4, 1998, but their exact birthday varies).

Looks like whatever Miss Philippines 2010 Venus Raj said is really creating a huge buzz. Well, there is a good reason for that.

The judge William Baldwin asked, ““What is one big mistake that you made in your life and what did you do to make it right?”

Venus Raj being really nervous responded, “Thank you so much sir for that wonderful question. Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Good evening Las Vegas. You know what sir, in my 22 years of existence, I can say there is nothing major major, I mean problem that I have done in my life because I am very confident with my family with the love that they are giving to me so thank you so much that I am here. Thank you thank you so much.”

So, whats wrong here ? I don’t know, maybe she forgot to answer the question? Coming to think of it, yes she did!

Though her answer was dumb,  at least she managed to get some sense in her answer no matter how irrelevant it was to the question.

This reminds of the answer Miss Teen USA South Carolina gave in 2007. You really got a watch it if you still haven’t it a HUGE FAIL in so many levels. Her answer didn’t make any sense. Even if you combine 2 words of what she spoke it wouldn’t mean anything at all.

I guess these ‘beauties’ all cared only about body that they fail to put something in their head. Let models do what they too best, “Look pretty”.

Google boss Eric Schmidt warns that, “Young people might have to one day change their names to escape their previous online activity.”

I think that day is already here. With the overnight celebs in youtube for the wrong reasons, its obvious that the next time these people need to use internet they have to go on a new identity.

Ok, lets see what more Eric had to say, ” I fear they did not understand the consequences of having so much personal information about them online.”

Hmm, that seems to be a bit off. Did he not notice that company he works for is actually investing more and more into social networking then ever before?

Google has recently acquired Slide and Jambool, two firms specialising in providing services for social networks.

Slide is gaming firm, whilst Jambool provides virtual currencies and payments. Google has also reportedly invested in another social network gaming firm called Zynga.

Many believe the acquisitions are a sign that the search giant is about to launch another social network. Some commentators have already given the rumoured product a name: Google.me.

Wait there is more : Google already owns two social networks, Google Buzz and Orkut. Also Buzz was caught in a controversy when it linked up with people’s Gmail accounts without asking them and making their contacts were publicly visible.

Mr Schmidt said: “I don’t believe society understands what happens when everything is available, knowable and recorded by everyone all the time… I mean we really have to think about these things as a society.”

Ok, Mr Schmidt. I think that you have no idea what Google is doing behind your back or you are just frustrated that none of Google’s social networking worked? Or trying to cover-up how you and Google failed to make a presence in social networking? or are you trying to break Facebook and your other competitors ? Nice try!

Whats really ironic is that Google’s boss is talking about ‘consequences’ of putting too much personal information online while their search engine seems to be doing just about the opposite of that and tracking every single human that accesses its services.

Thor trailer has been released. My reaction is, “I am impressed”

Take on movie synopsis:

The Mighty Thor of Asgard is a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war.

Thor seems to be the latest in the movie of The Avengers series which will also include Iron Man and Hulk and others. The movie will be released in May 2011 in time for the Summer Box Office.

As a punishment for his act, he has been thrown down to Earth and forced to live among humans. Living with humans helps thor to understand what a real warrior is like and soon he becomes their protector against the  most dangerous villain who has sent darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Rumors are again flowing loop and corner about Spiderman series. This time, the new buzz is about the role of peter parker.

Donald Glover has started  out campaigns in  twitter and facebook to give him the role  of  Spiderman in the upcoming spiderman film to be released on 2012.

Mr.Glover  is a TV star and acted shows  like 30 rocks. He demands all of the comic loving fans to help him achieve his  Spider man dream.

In his tweet, the actor writes, “I don’t want to just be given the role. I want to be able to audition. I truly love Spider-Man.”
