Talk about coincidence. Rebecca Black’s mega-hit ‘Friday’ has been taken off of YouTube this Friday. It has been removed from YouTube because of a copyright claim from Rebecca Black herself.

This is the message displayed in YouTube when you try to access the video, “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Rebecca Black.”

Rebecca Black’s representative told the media that they sent a takedown notice to YouTube because of a dispute over the video with Ark Music Factory, the company Black’s parents paid $4,000 to produce the song and video.

Just a week back Ark Music Factory began charging the viewers $2.99 to watch the video.

Lawyers for Black and Ark Music have been haggling over who owns the rights to everything associated with “Friday” since it became a sensation earlier this year.

Investors growing worries on Google Stock

Google’s stock is exactly where it was in September 2007, and it has fallen 9% since Eric Schmidt announced in January that he’d be stepping down as CEO.

The problem, investors say, is that for every reason to believe in Google (GOOG, Fortune 500), there seems to be a counterbalancing reason for concern.

The company is growing rapidly, but antitrust battles are a threat to growth. Hiring increases could help create the next billion-dollar business, but the weight on margins scares some investors. New management should make the company more efficient, but near-term profits could suffer. And well-received product enhancements aren’t enough to reduce some investors’ worries about Facebook’s threat to Google’s business.

“There are many moving parts at Google that make it hard to assess [growth] on the revenue line, associated risk and competitive dynamics across its many markets,” said Joel Achramowicz, analyst at Blaylock Robert Van. “These uncertainties are causing the market to remain circumspect with regard to the name ‘Google.’”

New Zealand, today, defeated the inform South Africa team to enter the semi finals of the ICC World Cup 2011.

Thanks to the defeat, South Africa is all set to pack their bags home. che, this is annoying and disappointing. After so much of commitment by the south african team in this world cup once again they lost in the bigger picture of the game.

South Africa have now failed to win a knock match for 6 consecutive world cup games. This is harsh!

The third quarter final match between New Zealand and South Africa was played today at Mirpur with New Zealand batting first.

The start was terrible as NZ kept on losing wickets. Not until the out of form Jesse Ryder joined the crease, as they say, one innings could change everything. This is what we would say about Jesse Ryder.

The Star of the match  Jesse Ryder batted sensibly hitting the ball all around the stadium scoring 83 runs before getting himself out for the bowl of  Imran Tahir. Ross Taylor contributed along with Ryder scoring 43 runs under his name.

In the end New Zealand managed to score 221 for 8 in 50 overs.

The task was considered very low that people started saying South Africa will walk away with a win. Even  i thought the same.

As they saw, anything can happen in a cricket match, this match is a sure example for that.

Thanks to Kallis innings, South Africa reached 108 runs at the loss of 2 wickets but when he got out, the beginning of  ‘Great South African‘ collapse took place as batsman entered the crease and getting themselves out for cheap runs.

The highlight of the match would be when De villiers  was run out thanks to the wrong call by the new batsman  du Plessis. As villiers was about to leave the field, four New Zealand players taunted du Plessis so much that he lost his nerve only to be stopped by the rushing on-field umpire and de Villiers who stopped a major clash.

Angered Du Plessis played a crucial knock. At one point it looked like South Africa could escape the loss and achieve the knock out success.

NZ bowler Oram made sure they didnt by spoiling the South Africa chances by taking crucial back to back wickets.

South Africa could manage only  172 after losing all 10 wickets.

The Man of  the Match was awarded to Jacob Oram who took 4 wickets for 39 runs.

New Zealand will now meet the winners of  Sri Lanka Vs England in the Semis.

Israeli Army kills a palestine

Israeli army with its heavily loaded tanks attacked the Gaza border today leaving one Palestine civilian death and 2 others injured.

This is why i never trust Israeli Army!!!

BBC reports, Israel’s military as saying,  it was responding to an attack by Palestinian militants who had detonated an explosive device targeting an army patrol along the border.

In fact, the  Local Palestinians said they had been collecting stones to recycle into bricks when they came under fire.

It is a known fact that after taking away the land from palestine, Israel has always eyed to expand itself more globally and aggresively.

Last year, despite UN’s request ( yeah its a request. UN doesnt have the strength to warn Israel for whatever reasons!!!) Israel continue to occupy the restricted area for its land expansion and for building a new homes.

I found an interesting map that tells you the story of Israel and Palestine.

If you could just analyze the map, you can understand which country is aggressive and  which country is fighting for their rights.

Facebook Growth in US slows down to only 5%

Facebook’s growth has slowed in the US and some European countries, as the company appears to be reaching its saturation point in the western world.

In December 2010, only 5 per cent of new users joining Facebook were from the US, according to data provided by Inside Facebook Gold, a research company that analyses data patterns from the social networking giant. This marks a stark contrast from prior months when approximately one quarter of the social network’s new users were from the USA.

Facebook is slowing down....

Facebook is slowing down....

The data also revealed that there had been a greater influx of people from India, Mexico, Brazil, Taiwan, the Philippines and Indonesia joining Facebook.

With Facebook’s US member growth declining in the past four months, analysts fear that the platform is reaching its saturation point in terms of new users, meaning that the company may start to rely on non-US users for growth.

The company may be forced to deploy tactics to ensure it continues to add new users in the US in order to sustain its revenue growth.

With such numbers Facebook will soon start seeing negative growth as people get bored with Facebook. What do you think Facebook will outlive all social networking sites ? Or start seeing its downfall soon ?

Robert Pattinson presented the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film last night. But it wasn’t Denmark’s In a Better World that had people buzzing after the Twilight Saga star left the stage.

Robert showed up to the event with ginger hair, a result, he said, of having to “keep switching” up his look between filming Water for Elephants and Breaking Dawn.

“I thought it was a nice change,” the actor said at the ceremony. Do you agree? Compare the new with the old and cast your vote now on which color is the most handsome.

Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber was forced to cancel a German TV appearance on Saturday after a stunt went horribly wrong.

Bieber was booked to appear on Saturday night on popular German game show Wetten Dass, but was forced to cancel his appearance after a contestant suffered serious head injuries during a stunt.

According to an Associated Press report, Samuel Koch, 23, suffered multiple back injuries and fractures after he attempted to jump over a moving vehicle that was being driven by his father.

The contestant was wearing special suspension shoes, but came a cropper and landed face-down on the floor in front of the horrified audience.

Bieber later took to Twitter to explain, “An accident has taken place and we all don’t think it is right to continue. Please pray for Samuel Koch & his family as we wait and hope for his health and safety.”

He added, “Please pray for Samuel Koch & his family as we wait and hope for his health and safety…Some things are more important than putting on a show. We will be back, I promise.”

Koch suffered multiple fractures and back injuries, and underwent surgery in Duesseldorf on Sunday. Doctors describe his condition as “extremely critical” but no longer life threatening, reports The Sun.
