Designation: Immediate oppurtunities for Cognizant Chennai for Unix with Autosys

Job Description:

• Solid knowledge of UNIX: includes directory structures, permissions, shell scripting (ksh), and UNIX utilities such as awk and sed.
• Working knowledge of Unix Performance monitoring utilities top, topas, and nmon
• Working knowledge of UNIX process ids, how to find if a shell/process is running, kill etc…
• Experience with Autosys batch scheduling utility
• Working knowledge of Autosys architecture and setup
• Solid knowledge of the following Autosys commands: autosc, autocal, autocal_asc, jil, autorep, job_depends
• Solid knowledge of the various Autosys job types: File watchers, Commands, and Boxes, as well as an in-depth understanding of Autosys job dependency functionality
• Solid knowledge of Autosys/Unix error codes and Autosys failure types
• Working knowledge of Autosys profiles for job setup and the use of variables inside Autosys profiles
