Captain Yuvraj Singh is clueless. Some thing needs to be done to bring back the Pune Warriors into the winning form. But it is not possible to just turn a loss over a win with such a short span of time.

Pune Warriors need  a guy who has played International Cricket, a guy who has captained a team, a guy who has molded a team, a guy who taught the players the winning formula, a guy who is known for his aggressiveness, a guy whose name would damage the mental confidence of the opposition on the moment of mentioning it, a guy who has seen it all. But who would qualify with so much requirements?

Well, it was the same guy who they thought will be a  void when they started bidding for the players in the IPL auction. Its none other than Sourav Ganguly, the former captain of Indian team.

Usain Bolt, the Olympics record holder has been  defeated for the first time by US athlete Tyson Gay.

The 100 m race which was held in Stockholm is surely a historical day for Tyson Gay. Defeating Usain Bolt will give any athlete a boost of confidence.

But,reports around the race suggest that Bolt was not comfortable at the race and was distracted by the faulty starts of other players.

Surprisingly it was indeed acknowledge by both Tyson Gay and Usain Bolt.

“It’s just one of those days for me today,” Bolt told the BBC. “I need to work on my shape. I got a good start but there was no power. I was ready, I was focused.”

In reference to the faulty starts, he said: “It kind of gets annoying, but I can’t blame that, he (Gay) was ready, he was in better shape than me.”

Gay was equally modest in his victory adding, “Deep down I knew he wasn’t 100%. I know what his limitations are, it’s his off-year, and I know he has a lot more left in the tank,” he said, adding that his aim now was to beat Bolt when both men were in top form. “I’m still waiting for the day when we are both 100% and Asafa is also on the line,” he said.

Most of his compatriots have developed cold feet about playing in the Indian Premier League in the wake of Shiv Sena’s threat but retired opener Matthew Hayden said he is very much looking forward to be part of the third edition of the Twenty20 extravaganza. Hayden, who represents Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, said he never had problems in India and the country meant a lot for him and his family.

“I can say that I have been welcomed in all parts of India as a brother and friend of the country, which is a great privilege and I’m humble about it. Over a long period of time, I acknowledge, what India meant to me, individually and to my family as well. I’m looking forward with great confidence to playing in IPL,” the towering Australian said.

“In every tour, generally what happens that it is in player’s discretion to decide whether he wants to play or pull out because of personal reasons or other reasons. Obviously the matter now rests in the players’ hands,” Hayden said.

He conceded the players and the Australian Cricketers’ Association were concerned but felt the Aussies would be part of the tournament if the franchisees keep them updated about the security issue.

Australian players’ IPL participation became uncertain after Shiv Sena said they would not allow any Aussie cricketer to play here unless the attack on the Indians did not stop Down Under.
