The rumors are true! ‘American Idol’ contestant Paul McDonald is dating ‘Twilight’ star Nikki Reed, UsMagazine.com reports. McDonald confirmed the news after getting the boot on Thursday night’s results show.

And though they are “officially dating,” the latest ‘Idol’ castoff admits the couple doesn’t “get to see each other too much because [they're] both working so hard.”

“[Nikki's] supercool,” the 26-year-old singer gushed. “She’s been real supportive of this whole thing. She’s actually pumped up now because she likes my original material way better than all the stuff I do on the show.”

He also told the magazine that he and Reed hit it off immediately: “It was weird. I haven’t ever actually watched any of her movies. I don’t know too much of her career at all, but the person she is is super cool.”
“I told her I’m not watching any of [her movies] for a long time… She said, ‘I don’t want you watching’ and I was like ‘I don’t want to!’” he added.

As for the other rumored ‘Twilight’ and ‘Idol’ romance between Taylor Lautner and Lauren Alaina, McDonald wouldn’t reveal much. “I don’t know. I think he’s just a fan of Idol in general. He seems like a really cool dude. I don’t know too much about that,” he said.

First off, this is a rumor and still not confirmed. You all know about how Justin Bieber attracts a lot of psychotic fans. It looks like one of them just punched Selena Gomez for dating Justin Bieber.

Well this couple has already been dragged in many times and both seems to have denied that they are dating. Both Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez said there were just good friends.
