Can you believe it? America, the land of Democracy and freedom for speech had no laws to favor woman to vote in elections 90 years ago.

That means, your a woman and no voting for you. This trend was followed 144 years of America’s democracy period.

To break this unjust practice, the 19th Amendment was passed today to make sure woman were allowed to vote.

The 19th Amendment  to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, prohibiting any federal government agency, state or local government to deny a citizen the right to vote based on S-EX-.

This Amendment was passed after so much trouble in the constitution where some people didnt want the law to be passed. Finally, in 1920 the law was passed.

What do you think on this topic? Are woman just a being that have no rights at all. I certainly will thank the constitution member who gave the woman their rights as a citizen of its country

Absolutely unbelievable Rodolfo Torre Cantu is dead!!  How?? A gunmen assassinated him in his motorcade also killing four other people.

What the hell is going on here. I just cant believe it. Rodolfo torre cantu was an electoral candidate for the elections just a week long and he has been assassinated this morning when he was on his way to campaign.

Mexico is set for the shocker after hearing this bad incident.

Interior Minister Fernando Gomez Mont said: “These reprehensible acts fill all of society with indignation, We cannot permit these kinds of acts that affect the peace and security of Mexicans, we repeat our vow to fight organized crime in all its aspects.”

Former Argentine President Nestor Kirchner has announced that he will resign as the head of the party after finishing second in the high profile race with a Millionaire. Some believe that, the rival faction within the party is the root cause of the resignation.

Now this is said to be a major drawback for the ruling Peronist party as they are supposed to see mid polls soon. After the retirement from the Argentine President earlier 2007, his wife Cristina Fernandez  succeeded him as the President of Argentine.

Even the current government under President Cristina Fernandez is facing hard times due to few unpopular economic policies  and the increase effect of global meltdown.Correspondents say Sunday’s mid-term polls were seen as a referendum on the presidential couple who have dominated Argentine politics for the past six years.

President Cristina has brought the october elections earlier  arguing that this may help the country to reunite in this bad times of global recession.

Rahul Gandhi is the name that is hot now in India after the work he did for the win that his party got in  the general election 2009. Rahul Gandhi, as a congress worker worked hard to win the Uttar Pradesh seats and he took this as a Challenge. Congress had a very bad record in  UP. Rarely have they managed to win few seats in Uttar Pradesh.

Due to his continous work ,Congress have won 22 seats in UP which is far more than the 9 seats which they won last term. The credit for the result in Uttar Pradesh goes to my brother Rahul, says Priyanka Gandhi.Rahul gandhi in his speech after the win thanked the people of  India for voting the congress and he appealed the youth to join politics.

Interestingly Rahul added that he would have been  continously working  for the people even if Congress had loss the elections.
