Irish economy shrinks by 1.2%

It has come as a surprise to many. The Irish economy has actually shrunk by 1.2% while everyone was expecting it grow. Man throws shoe at Greek PM

A man threw a shoe at Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou Saturday in protest against the socialist government’s austerity measures. The shoe missed its intended target and the man was arrested along with two accomplices, radio reports said.
