Tennis Legend Jack Kramer is dead

Jack kramerJohn Albert Kramer, the wimbledon star and the united states single champion, also a Well known Legend of the Tennis world has died.

The report of his death was announced  by ESPN’s Cliff Drysdale in the on going semi final match between Rafael Nadal  and Juan Martin Del Potro.

John Kramer is a powerful promoter of Tennis of his days and is regarded as the most influential personality of the tennis history.

John Albert Kramer was born in Las Vegas on Aug. 1, 1921, the son of a brakeman for the Union Pacific Railroad. He learned to play tennis in the Los Angeles area as a teenager when his family moved there. His idol was Ellsworth Vines, the former United States Nationals and Wimbledon champion, whom he played against in workouts.

Kramer won the united states singles championship at 1946 and he consecutively retained the title at 1947. He won his first ever wimbledon title at  1947.

Kramer also  took over as promoter of the pro tour in 1952 and expanded it into an international operation, the players transporting a portable court in a host of one-night stands. In a 12-day period in 1957, Kramer’s entourage made 11 appearances in 8 cities, from South Africa to the Philippines.

Wilson Sporting Goods sold millions of Jack Kramer-autographed wooden racquets, Kramer receiving a percentage of the sales revenue. He was a longtime commentator for American network broadcasts and for the BBC at Grand Slam events.

The dead of Kramer is a huge loss for the game of tennis. His talent was well spoken by his way of handling tactics for the tennis game. His loss can never be fulfilled by any other person.

She claimed that she almost everyday saw the doctor come downstairs carrying oxygen tanks from the icon’s room, but on the unfortunate day he did not and she “thought maybe Mr. Jackson is sleeping late.”

“I started preparing the lunch and then I looked at my cell phone and it was noon. About 12:05 or 12:10 Dr. Murray runs down the steps and screams, ‘Go get Prince!’ He’s screaming very loud,” the Telegraph quoted her as telling in an interview.

She narrated: “I run into the den where the kids are playing. Prince (Jackson’s oldest son) runs to meet Dr Murray and from that point on you could feel the energy in the house change.

“I walked into the hall and I saw the children there. The daughter was crying. I saw paramedics running up the stairs. We were all praying, ‘Help Mr Jackson be OK.’ Then everyone was very quiet.”

happening!! she claimed she saw no sign that Jackson was on drugs or was in failing health.The facts could be incriminating for Murray whose house and office have been raided by drugs enforcement agents.

The late King of Pop reportedly wanted Chase to travel with him to London for his O2 concert. It shows how kind hearted MJ was. I miss him :(

She added Michael’s 12-year-old son, Prince Michael II, personally made the request to her.She recalled: “Prince said, ‘Daddy wants me to tell you he wants you to go to London with us,” I said, ‘Tell your daddy that I’m pleased and honoured.”

Legendary Anchor Walter Cronkite dies

Legendary Walter Cronkite who made himself a unique stand on the whole of America dies at the age of 92. He was famous for the news which he delivered at the most toughest time of American history. The authentic of his News Source and reports made him “the Most trusted man of America”.

Walter Cronkite began his career as a Television correspondent at CBS in 1950. After which, he anchored the “CBS Evening News” from 1962 to 1981.

His reports on the assassination of president John F. Kennedy, Vietnam war to the Apollo space program has a deep impact on the people. People all around America used to watch his show without fail which is to say, the show that he was in  top ranked for almost 20 years.

Nearly 20 million people followed his News report every night which is remarkable citing the population on early 50’s and 60’s. His death is not sudden. His family report that, Walter Cronkite  suffered with Cerebrovascular disease for quite a  few years.

He retired on high note from the Industry and is still loved by the people. He was nick named “Uncle Walter” out of love by the people.
