Public Attention – This is through programs such as: Purity camps, Condom distribution at schools and other programs that the public have stepped in and took over for the parents who refuse to teach their children. Yes, talking with your children about sex is difficult, but how much more difficult will it be to take care of a baby when you are too old to do it? That is why the public is stepping in.
2. Better information – Fliers, pamphlets, and books are educating children more about the different diseases that are spread through intercourse and other forms of sex. Children are reading this and taking more initiative to protect themselves when they have sex. When teenagers were in the past, there was not that much information to give to people who were sexually active. This caused many outbreaks of AIDS and other harmful diseases.

New policies – Different laws being passed in order to help rape victims or unfit mothers use abortion to solve the pregnancy problem are being implemented in many cities to reduce the amount of children born to unfit parents. There are many teenagers who look at these programs and feel that getting pregnant when you are not ready is a very bad idea.
When children have pregnancies, it can be dangerous. This is a big reason why teenagers are avoiding getting pregnant today. With the many advances in medical science, it makes it easier to solve the teenager’s problems with labor. However, the pains of delivery are what make many teenagers escape getting pregnant through improper safe sex methods. Keeping the information ready to the teenagers will keep the decrease the same. When you give out information to the children, it is their choices to whether or not they are going to follow them. You cannot force the methods upon them.
