Randy Savage, as known as “Macho Man”, has passed away. He was 58. His death comes as a real shocker to the WWE as well as the WWE fans all across the globe.

How did the Macho Man die

Savage suffered an Heart attack while he was driving in a car that led to the one-car accident in Pinellas County, Fla. He later passed away in the Largo Medical Center of injuries sustained in the collision.

NYtimes reports His brother, Lanny Poffo as saying,  Savage was driving with his wife, Lynn, about 9:25 a.m. when he passed out at the wheel, drove over the median and hit a tree. His wife had minor injuries, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

WWE in its official website has posted the following message.

“WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of one of the greatest Superstars of his time, Randy Poffo, a.k.a. Randy “Macho Man” Savage. Poffo was under contract with WWE from 1985 to 1993 and held both the WWE and Intercontinental Championships. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends. We wish a speedy recovery to his wife Lynn. Poffo will be greatly missed by WWE and his fans.”

For me, he will always be remembered as the “Macho Man” who changed the face of the wrestling industry in the 80′s.  We will never hear the (“Ooh yeah!”) catch phrase or see the trademark Sun Glass again

The legendary Mike Starr famous for Alice in Chains bassist was found dead in Utah.

Mike Starr, aged 44, was a well known rock band player. Mysteriously he left the band in 1992 and never appeared again for it. Even at the death of his fellow band singer Layne Staley, on 2002, he did not reappeared!

When he reappeared in 2010 reality show Celebrity Rehab, a VH1 reality show, it indicated that he was addicted to drug and he couldn’t leave it.

TMZ who was the first to broke Mike Starr’s death, added, “Mike Starr was arrested just last month for felony possession of a controlled substance. He was found with six Xanax and six painkiller pills at the time of his arrest.”

His death is definitely a shocker for his fans.Also, Starr’s father expressed he is shock by this tragedy.

Today’s night of champions was a real thriller. As predicted, Randy Orton won the WWE championship and much anticipated Undertaker vs Kane match held in a shocker as undertaker was defeated by Kane.

Heres the results:

India, today, defeated Sri Lanka by 5 wickets to win the 3rd and final test of the series.The test series ends in a draw with the results 1-1.

Team India are still the number 1 test team in the world.

Match Summary

The match started with Sri Lanka electing to bat. Sangakkara , Samaraweera and Jayawardene played well to lead Sri Lanka to 425 score. India replied well with bat with Virendra Sehwag scoring a Century, Laxman and Raina scoring half centuries.

However, India couldnt handle the attack from Sri Lanka crumbling to 350 for 7. After which the tail enders Mithum and Mishra played a knock of their life each scoring over 40 runs and giving India a lead of 11 runs. India were all out for 436 for 10.

Sri Lanka second innings started in a shocker where Sri Lanka lose quick wickets and were looking in very grave state when Samaraweera and bowler Ajantha Mendis rescued Sri lanka. The former scoring 83 and the latter scoring 78 runs.

India were given a target of 225 to win the match. The Indian second innings started in the similar manner as the Lankan where batsman had no clue for the bowling of Randiv.

Not until when Master Blaster came to the crease and replied the bowler with a classic innings. Tendulkar’s stay in the crease was the turning point of the match. Sachin Tendulkar scored 51 runs and made a partnership of 100 run with Laxman.However, Sachin got out for the bowling of Randiv.

Laxman and Raina made sure there will be no more lose of wickets. Both the players played superbly to see India home. Laxman completed his brilliant Century and proved once again that he is very very special Laxman.

Brett Favre has called it a day by suddenly announcing retirement when people least expect.

According to the tweets, “Brett Favre began telling Vikings officials last night he will NOT return for a 20th season.” Another said that “Favre is expected to issue a press release later today.”

Brett Lorenzo Favre, born October 10, 1969, is an American football quarterback in the National Football League for the Minnesota Vikings.. He is a 19-year veteran, predominantly as the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers (1992–2007)

For years, he has given his presence for the season only at the last moment. But this time around he just gave the shocker of retirement.

Lets face the facts, he is 19 year old veteran. He knows what to do. Whatever your decision is we will stand by you brett.

Another shocker. Germany defeated Argentina 4-0.

The match started with Germany scoring a thriller goal on the third minute of the match.  Half time was called with the score on board Germany 1-0 against Argentina.

On the 68th minute of the match, Germany scored another goal making their lead to 2-0. With Argentina having no answers for Germany attack, the boys of Germany standardized their lead with  2 more goals on 74th and 89th minute of the match.

Boys who scored for  Germany are  Klose(2), Muller and Friedrich.

from Argentina side there were no goal. Captain Massi had no answers this time around. His brilliance was spoken throughout the world but he failed to get his team to semi finals.

We could call this story as History repeats itself. Do remember, Germany was the same team that stopped Argentina in the quarter finals of the 2006 world cup.

Again they stopped the favourite Argentina this time around. Cheez, i felt bad to see the match. I totally Congratulate the brilliance of Germany, but i  had  my pick on Argentina. Felt disappointed to see them lose.

Absolutely unbelievable Rodolfo Torre Cantu is dead!!  How?? A gunmen assassinated him in his motorcade also killing four other people.

What the hell is going on here. I just cant believe it. Rodolfo torre cantu was an electoral candidate for the elections just a week long and he has been assassinated this morning when he was on his way to campaign.

Mexico is set for the shocker after hearing this bad incident.

Interior Minister Fernando Gomez Mont said: “These reprehensible acts fill all of society with indignation, We cannot permit these kinds of acts that affect the peace and security of Mexicans, we repeat our vow to fight organized crime in all its aspects.”
