Vanessa Bryant has filed divorce papers from her superstar husband, according to reports.

TMZ is reporting that Vanessa Bryant, Kobe’s wife of 10 years, has moved to end their marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Vanessa has requested joint custody of their daughters Natalia Diamante and Gianna Maria-Onore, who are 8 and 5 years old, respectively.

“The Bryants have resolved all issues incident to their divorce privately with the assistance of counsel and a Judgment dissolving their marital status will be entered in 2012,” a representative said in a statement.

Kobe and the then-Vanessa Lane met while he was shooting a video for his hip-hop album, which was never released. Lane was a 17-year-old backup dancer who was still in high school. When Kobe and Vanessa married in 2001, his parents and sisters— who disapproved of the relationship — were not in attendance. In Shaquille O’Neal’s recently released memoir, Shaq says that none of Bryant’s teammates, with whom he had a rocky relationship, were invited to the wedding.

In 2003, Kobe was charged with raping a 19-year-old hotel employee at a Colorado resort. Before the case went to trial, Kobe settled out of court with the accuser for an undisclosed sum.

It was during the leadup to this trial that Kobe brought Vanessa an 8-carat purple diamond ring worth nearly $4 million.

“I know that my husband has made a mistake – the mistake of adultery,” Vanessa said in the statement at the time. “He and I will have to deal with that within our marriage, and we will do so. He is not a criminal.”
In a 2009 Esquire profile, Kobe and Vanessa were portrayed as a loving couple who were very protective of their young daughters. “Kobe tells me unabashedly that when he met her, it was love at first sight,” Mike Sager wrote. “Kobe calls her Mamacita. He holds her hand everywhere they go. Sometimes he speaks to her in Spanish.”

TMZ says the couple did not enter a pre-nuptial agreement. When his current contract ends, Kobe Bryant will have earned $280 million in NBA salaries. He has earned a substantial amount of money, perhaps in the hundreds of millions, from his product endorsement deals with companies like Nike and McDonald’s.

TMZ is reporting that Kurt Angle, the legendary wrestler has been arrested by Virginia State Troopers for Driving Under Influence.

Law enforcement tells TMZ … Angle’s car was spotted by another driver … swerving between lanes on I-66. Angle was busted by Virginia State Troopers, who responded to the call, and taken to Warren County Jail.

He posted $2,000 bond and was released at 3:31 AM.

Angle won the gold medal in wrestling at the 1996 Olympics before turning to professional wrestling. He made his name in the WWE and is currently under contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

Ryan Dunn, one of the stars in ‘Jackass’ has died in a car crash in Pennsylvania early monday morning. His death has been confirmed with the mother of fellow “Jackass” star Bam Margera.

The 34-year-old Dunn appeared in all of the “Jackass” movies, and had two separate films in post-production and another in development, according to the IMDB.

Dunn and an unidentified person both died in the crash which happened around 3 a.m. at Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township, according to TMZ.

Ryan Dunn was just 34 years old.

I am sure many of you would have heard about the Botox Mom story. The Botox Mom, Sheena Upton aka Kerry Campbell hit the headlines for injecting Botox for her 8-year-old daughter. Looks like the whole story is a lie spun by The Sun to make a few bucks according to the botox mom’s declaration.

TMZ has obtained a sworn declaration written by Sheena Upton, who claims she was recently approached by the British tabloid, The Sun, and asked “to play the role of Kerry Campbell” for a story called “I Give My 8-Year-Old Daughter Botox.”

Upton now confesses The Sun paid her $200 adding, “I was provided with the story, instructions and a script to follow for a recorded interview.”

After the story ran in The Sun, Upton says she was approached by “Good Morning America” and “Inside Edition” and claims she was offered  “a large fee” to appear on camera.  She went on both shows and re-told her story.

After the interview, child welfare officials took Upton’s daughter away.

Upton now admits in her declaration, “The truth is I have never given my daughter Botox, nor allowed her to get any type of waxing, nor is she a beauty pageant contestant.”

Upton says professionals agree with her declaration, because on May 17, she took her daughter to the UCLA Medical Center and says, “After my daughter received a full medical exam, the results indicated that she has not ever received treatments including Botox or other such injections.”

We’re told the UCLA reports were forwarded to child welfare officials, who then returned Upton’s daughter to her, with the provison that a cousin would stay with her and the child for the time being.

As for “Good Morning America” — sources connected with Upton claim she was promised $10,000 to appear.  We do not know how much she was offered for “Inside Edition.”

As for the declaration — signed under penalty of perjury — we’re told Upton wrote it so her lawyer can secure full rights to custody of her daughter.

An ABC News insider tells TMZ, “There is no truth to the story about compensation, but they did pay a broker no more than $10,000 to license photos.”

Wow, how sick can people get? Looks like money always does its job well in bringing the worst out of people. When people say The Sun did something like this, it doesn’t really surprise me. The Sun is a tabloid that has a reputation of such crap.The Sun continues to decline it made up the story.

Katie Couric, the famous CBS NEWS Anchor has landed herself into the news after the rumors spread out that she might not renew her contract with CBS and may start up her own syndicated show around September 2012.

According to The AP, Couric will step down from her role as anchor of the ‘CBS Evening News’ after almost five years in the job. The AP says a network executive, who spoke on condition of anonymity because Couric has not officially announced her plans, reported the move Sunday night.

No departure date has been set, but Couric’s contract expires June 4th. She is now expected to launch a syndicated talk show in 2012, and several companies — including CBS — are reportedly vying for her services.

The New York Post reports that CBS offered Couric a new package including both a daytime talk show and a prestigious regular slot on Sunday night news magazine, ’60 Minutes.’ Although Couric’s current contract stipulates that she contribute to ’60 Minutes’ at least six times a year, she’s never received any assignments from the producers.

However, Rome Hartman, Couric’s first executive producer at the ‘CBS Evening News,’ told The AP that, while Couric’s tenure clearly didn’t work out as well as CBS hoped, “I don’t think it’s right to think of it as, or call it, a failure. … There are people who love Katie and those who don’t love her and that was a factor,” he said. “But it was the overall dynamics. There was a rock that we couldn’t move and I don’t think it would have mattered who we would have put in there.”

TMZ goes on to add that, Katie Couric was not the person who made out the CBS Exit Deal. Now, this statement from TMZ speaks a lot on the whole CBS- Couric saga.

What we understand is that, CBS which is the third best news broadcast in the country, could no longer pay a $15 million salary package to Katie . In the end, as usual, the money factor made them to go against Katie.

It is understood from sources that, Katie may call it a quit in few weeks.

The legendary Mike Starr famous for Alice in Chains bassist was found dead in Utah.

Mike Starr, aged 44, was a well known rock band player. Mysteriously he left the band in 1992 and never appeared again for it. Even at the death of his fellow band singer Layne Staley, on 2002, he did not reappeared!

When he reappeared in 2010 reality show Celebrity Rehab, a VH1 reality show, it indicated that he was addicted to drug and he couldn’t leave it.

TMZ who was the first to broke Mike Starr’s death, added, “Mike Starr was arrested just last month for felony possession of a controlled substance. He was found with six Xanax and six painkiller pills at the time of his arrest.”

His death is definitely a shocker for his fans.Also, Starr’s father expressed he is shock by this tragedy.

TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan is worried about Charlie Sheen. Lindsay Lohan believes Charlie Sheen is in the midst of a “life or death situation” and has told friends she’s “thrilled” that he’s checked himself into a rehab center.

TMZ’s sources are telling that Lindsay Lohan is “worried” about the because his most recent bender shows “obvious signs of addiction”.

But after Charlie Sheen checked into a rehab, Lindsay Lohan is now confident that he can get his life back. That is if he commits himself to sobriety.

TMZ was also reported that Lindsay Lohan, “understands the problem of having the wrong people around and wants Charlie to understand that he needs to surround himself with positive, sober people.”
