Both Manchester clubs record wins in their premier-league matches on Saturday

Manchester City won 4-0 against bottom placed Blackburn whereas their city rivals Manchester United won 2-0 to go top of the premier-league against newly promoted Norwich.

City suffered an early blow as their new summer signing ‘Kun’ Aguero limping off the pitch. Adam Johnson started the scoring for the star studded city in 56th min from the edge of the area. United remain top of the table on goal difference.
