New Hampshire Post Office to Work Only Half-Hour Per Day

NH post office cuts hours to just 30 minutes a day

NH post office cuts hours to just 30 minutes a day

Post Offices are getting useless. With more and more people moving to the internet looks like the days of snail mail are gone.

A post office in New Hampshire in Sugar Hill will be open only 30 minutes a day. If you plan on sending a registered post in Sugar Hill you will have to make sure that you make it to the post office in that 30 minutes.

The post office is open from 10:15 to 10:45 each morning.

New Hampshire’s two U.S. senators have written a letter urging the U.S. Postal Service to hold a community meeting in the northern New Hampshire town so that residents, government officials and business owners can ask questions and offer their thoughts on the future of retail postal service there.

Looks like they might well just close the post office, but it has to be open and an available service as it is indeed a necessary requirement in a community.
