Although E L James has said that the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is still a long way from casting, outlets continue to carelessly throw names into the ring.
The latest rumor comes from the New York Daily News, which reports that “Emma Watson is in talks to take on the role of Anastasia Steel [sic] in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades Of Grey.”
According to the paper, “The actress is the hot favorite to be chosen by producers Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti.”
The Daily News further notes, “The 22-year-old is said to have the right looks for the part, combining a degree of innocence with the acting skills to portray the young graduate who gets swept into a world of sado-masochistic sex with a kinky billionaire, Christian Grey.”
However, while it might be true that Watson has what it takes to play Anatastia Steel, how can we believe this rumor?
No official confirmation from Emma Watson’s rep yet. But this is way further into rumor zone!
