Ricky Gervais To Star In The Muppets Sequel?

If the reports are real then it seems that Ricky Gervais is in talks to star in the sequel to The Muppets.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ricky Gervais is negotiating with producers to be the human lead in the sequel to the movie The Muppets.

His role would reportedly be comparable in stature to the part played by Jason Segel in the 2011 movie, which also starred Amy Adams and Chris Cooper.

The Muppets sequel script is being kept under wraps, and Gervais’ potential character has not been identified.

It’s believed that the film will be centered in Europe this time around, with “Modern Family” star Ty Burrell already attached.

So, will Ricky Gervais fit a role in The Muppets??
