LAMP Programmer/Developer in UK

Our client a Digital Marketing Agency, are seeking a dynamic and experienced LAMP programmer/developer to join their vibrant team working in a rapidly growing industry sector. Working for clients such as London Stock Exchange, Confused.com, Nestle and Black and Decker, you will be responsible for continuously upgrading and improving existing programs and develop new cutting edge web based applications for the search engine marketing industry.

Working alongside the management team you will be responsible for the delivery of IT projects in house including the development of new and existing systems and tools. You will be involved in all stages of the IT projects from scoping out to assessing needs, delivering the mechanics, testing, collating feedback, to rolling out and ongoing maintenance.

Skills:

• You will be a self motivated individual able to work independently and as part of a team.
• You will be able to maintain and develop business tools in conjunction with the business plan.
• You will be well organised and possess excellent documentation skills, keeping clear on concise records for all IT projects.
• You will be a confident communicator and have experience in dealing with colleagues at all levels.
• Ideally you will be educated to degree level and have a proven track record in programming and developing.
• Experience in PHP, ZEND, Python, MySQL, Javascript and XML is essential.

You will be expected to be hard working, diligent, quick thinking and eager to learn as much about the internet, IT and online marketing as possible; you will be working with a young team of highly Internet savvy individuals who want to have fun at the same time as ensuring the success of the company.
