Rahul Gandhi, as a congress worker worked hard to win the Uttar Pradesh seats and he took this as a Challenge. Congress had a very bad record in UP. Rarely have they managed to win few seats in Uttar Pradesh.
Due to his continous work ,Congress have won 22 seats in UP which is far more than the 9 seats which they won last term. The credit for the result in Uttar Pradesh goes to my brother Rahul, says Priyanka Gandhi.Rahul gandhi in his speech after the win thanked the people of India for voting the congress and he appealed the youth to join politics.
Interestingly Rahul added that he would have been continously working for the people even if Congress had loss the elections.
