Juan Carlos Cruz arrested on Murder charges

The Former Food Network chef Juan Carlos Cruz arrested on 14th May 2010. According to Santa Monica Police Sergeant Jay Trisler said: Juan Carlos Cruz was arrested Thursday on suspicion of solicitation to commit murder. He is being held on $5 million bail.

Juan Carlos Cruz graduated in 1993 from the California Culinary Academy. In 1994 he started working at the Stanford Park Hotel, as a pastry chef. In 1996 he started as pastry sous-chef at the Hotel Bel Air. While at the Bel Air he created pastries for celebrities Gary Oldman, Jack Nicholson, Nancy Reagan, Will Smith, Oprah Winfrey, Jim Carrey, Joe Namath, Prince Philip, Julia Roberts and Russell Crowe, among others.[citation needed]
