Man Trapped in Snow for 2 months

Posted by Riz On February - 19 - 2012ADD COMMENTS

A Swedish man has shocked the world by surviving in a snow wrecked car for two months without having any food.

The 45-year-old from southern Sweden was found on Friday by snowmobilers who thought they had come across a car wreck until they dug their way to a window and saw movement inside.

Man, this guy has given a new meaning for the word Human Survival. Experts suggest that he might have survived with the melting snow.

Do you know? Humans can survive without food for four weeks, but this guy is an exception. Maybe, he was protected by the good lord for his own reasons  :) :) :)

“Just incredible that he’s alive considering that he had no food, but also since it’s been really cold for some time after Christmas,” a rescue team member told regional daily Vasterbottens-Kuriren, which broke the news.

Ebbe Nyberg, duty officer at the Umea police, said police saw no reason to doubt that the man had been stuck in the car for a very long time.

“We would not make something like this up. The rescue services were on site too and saw the same as us,” he told Vasterbotten Courier newspaper

The man was huddled in a sleeping bag on the back seat, Ebbe Nyberg added.

“He was in a very poor state. Poor condition. He said he’d been there for a long time and had survived on a little snow.

“He said himself he hadn’t eaten anything since December,” Mr Nyberg said.

One doctor told the newspaper that the man might have survived so long by going into a kind of hibernation.

Anyway, what happened? How he got trapped? How did he survive? These questions can only be answered by the man who is currently in the hospital for treatment.

Couple Killed for Defriending a Woman!

Posted by Riz On February - 11 - 2012ADD COMMENTS

A Tennessee couple who “defriended” a woman on Facebook were murdered in their home by the jilted woman’s father and another man, police said on Thursday.

“It’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen,” Johnson County Sheriff Mike Reece said, adding he had never seen anything like it in his 27 years in law enforcement in the area. “We’ve had murders, but nothing like this. This is just senseless.”

He said Billy Clay Payne, Jr. and Billie Jean Hayworth were killed last month after they deleted Jenelle Potter, the daughter of one of the suspects, from their “friends” list. Both were shot in the head and the man had his throat cut.

The couple’s 8-month-old baby was in the mother’s arms, unharmed, when the bodies were found.

Marvin Enoch “Buddy” Potter Jr., 60, and Jamie Lynn Curd, 38, were each charged on Wednesday in Mountain City in northeastern Tennessee with two counts of first-degree murder. The men were arrested on Tuesday.

The case was not the first involving violence linked to Facebook. Last year in Iowa, a woman was arrested on accusations of setting fire to a friend’s garage after she was defriended on the social network site, local media reported.

In Texas, a man was accused of hitting his wife after she failed to “like” a Facebook post he wrote about the anniversary of his mother’s death, according to media reports.

Metal Space Ball crashes in Namibia!

Posted by Tommy On December - 23 - 2011ADD COMMENTS

A large metal ball from space has crash landed in Namibia. It just fell out of the sky into some remote grassland. Authorities in Namibia have contacted NASA and the European Space Agency requesting them to investigate this alien object.

The hollow ball with a circumference of 1.1 metres (43 inches) was found near a village in the north of the country some 750 kilometres (480 miles) from the capital Windhoek, according to police forensics director Paul Ludik.

Locals had heard several small explosions a few days beforehand, he said.

With a diameter of 35 centimetres (14 inches), the ball has a rough surface and appears to consist of “two halves welded together”.

It was made of a “metal alloy known to man” and weighed six kilogrammes (13 pounds), said Ludik.

It was found 18 metres from its landing spot, a hole 33 centimetres deep and 3.8 meters wide.

Several such balls have dropped in southern Africa, Australia and Latin America in the past twenty years, authorities found in an Internet search.

The sphere was discovered mid-November, but authorities first did tests before announcing the find.

Police deputy inspector general Vilho Hifindaka concluded the sphere did not pose any danger.

“It is not an explosive device, but rather hollow, but we had to investigate all this first,” he said.

Maybe this could be a spaceship. Well, lets not speculate and let the experts analyze and come to conclusions. There is high probability that it is man-made.

Dog Shots his owner

Posted by Riz On December - 2 - 20111 COMMENT

How many times have you come across a Dog holding a gun aiming at you?  Here’s a Dog who actually shot his owner. Lol!

A man aged 46 year from Brigham City, Utah who is not named in local news reports on the incident–got a behind-full of birdshot courtesy of his loyal canine companion when he was out duck hunting over the weekend.

KSL.com reports the man and his dog were traveling in a canoe-like boat when the man stepped out into a shallow marsh to set up some decoys. His left his 12-gauge shotgun resting across the bow of the boat, according to Box Elder County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Potter.

That’s when the dog “did something to make the gun discharge,” Potter said. “I don’t know if the safety device was on. It’s not impossible the dog could have taken it off safety.”

Apparently excited to join his owner in the marsh, the dog jumped up on the boat’s bow and stepped on the gun. The gun was fired, hitting the man in the buttocks with 27 pellets of birdshot.

The man promptly called 9-1-1, and is now reportedly recovering. Potter said that thanks to a well-positioned pair of waders–the hip-length rubber boots he was wearing at the time–the dog owner was able to avoid a more serious gunshot wound.

There may be a million marriages happening all over the world, but the marriage that took place between a Muslim man named Yunus Shaikh and her bride Taslim Shaik is worth to be called an heavenly marriage.

The marriage between the couple has proved to every soul in the world that a man’s  commitment is more important than any other promises.

Taslim Shaikh, a young resident of Vatva, was engaged to Yunus Shaikh and was to be married on Saturday. However, in a quirk of fate, she received severe burn injuries four days ago while she was cooking and had to be moved to L G Hospital.

Yunus, who remained firm in the marriage, said, “Come what may, I had decided that the nikaah would be solemnised on the appointed date and I resisted any move to stop it”.

The parents and relatives approached the L G Hospital authorities with a request to let them arrange for a simple nikaah. The authorities were reluctant in the beginning, but later relented and arranged for a separate room for the event.

Taslim’s mother was the happiest of all present. “I am feeling very lucky to have such a noble person as my son-in-law. He did not turn his back on my daughter, which he could do very easily and justifiably,” she said.

Yunus said by marrying Taslim, he had only fulfilled his promise he made to her out of his love for her. “So what if she has become a victim of circumstances.”

Mahatma Gandhi dancing photo – Is it real?

Posted by Riz On November - 16 - 20112 COMMENTS

M K Gandhi, the man who is known as the Father of the Nation, who would be easily recognized by every Indian child, has been in the news recently for dancing with a foreign lady.

An image of  dancing Gandhi has been posted Online on websites such as Facebook, imgur, etc., .

The image illustrates Mahatma Gandhi enjoying his dance with a foreign national lady.

Here’s the image below, courtesy of  imgur.com,

Our Take

I think, the image is  photo shopped.

I knew, M K Gandhi as a Man of Character.  Yes, there is a bits in the history that he was a little out of course at his young age.

Gandhi, the Man, was the man of Character.  He was a lawyer in profession, ofcourse the general users would know this, he left his job and sacrificed his life for the Poor of India.

He then, goes on to abolish all foreign made cloth wears, and started wearing a cloth type called  Khadi, which then become the mark of Indian Freedom struggle.

If you relate when Gandhi started to wear the khadi which he is wearing in the image above, he had already became a well known leader for not just Indians but for all over the world.

To relate some one with such character to the pic above. I think is baseless.

120 Year Old man marries 60 year Old woman

120-year-old Hazi Abdul Noor from India’s Assam’s Satghori village tied the knot with 60-year-old Samoi Bibi,a resident of North Foolbari village with the presence of over 500 guests, including religious heads, who gathered at the sleepy Satghori village in Karimganj district, around 400 km from Assam’s main city of Guwahati, to witness the rare marriage ceremony.

‘Homemade sweets were passed around when Maulana Khairuzzaman, a senior Madrasa teacher, asked for a ‘Kubool’ (agreeing to marry) and a smiling Noor replied in confirmatory by nodding his head,’ said Saiful Ahmed, a local government school teacher who was one of the guests at the ceremony.

‘Noor might very well be the oldest person to get married in this part of India as far as my memory goes,’ Ahmed told IANS.

Displaying his documents, Noor said: ‘My age in the electoral list of the election commission is 116 years, but I am 120.’

In fact, this is not his first marriage.

Salima Khatun, Noor’s first wife, died in 2005. ‘I married Salima when I was 40,’ he said.

Today, he heads a family of 122 members, including two sons, three daughters and numerous grandchildren, most of whom are married. Noor’s eldest daughter is 79.

‘Soon after my mother’s death, my father asked us to find him another wife who would look after him as he needs full-time support,’ said Noor’s eldest son Hazi Azir Uddin, a retired teacher.

‘With the help of one Abdul Hamid of Tripura, we found a new mother, though she’s half his age. She was married once. Long back her husband died and she has no children,’ the son said.

Folks, they say what is yours will be yours. At the age of 120 if this guys is marring the woman, i definitely feel she was born for him. Lol.

Marriages are made in Heaven. And this marriage is definitely a very rare example of the old saying.
