Posted by Shane On April - 26 - 2011ADD COMMENTS

Sri Lankan bowler Lasith Malinga who is currently the most talked bowler after his excellent performance in the International cricket has all people praising him.

It was one of those days when i was sitting in office ‘ checking mails’ where i came across a weird email from one of my colleague with a pic of a young man prompting me to  guess who it was.

Although i tried my best and scratched my head harder, i could not end up with the answer. Later on, i discovered the guy is none other than Lasith Malinga.

Holy cow, i was shocked to see him. I have uploaded the photo for you.

What do you think on the pic? Are you deceived! If yes, then you are not the only one buddy. Share this with your friends and let them knew how young Malinga looked like.

Google’s new Gmail feature gets a positive response from Gmail users.

What is Dont Forget Bob and Got the Wrong Bob?

Well, if your wondering that it is a secret code for some new invention, then you must know that  “its not what you think”

Ofcourse, its not a new application   rather its a reminder for a user to avoid embarrassment

How?

As reported via Google’s official blog, “Don’t forget Bob” and “Got the wrong Bob?” are two Gmail Labs features that help prevent you from making two common mistakes: forgetting to include someone on an email, and sending a message to the wrong person with a similar name to the person you meant to email — like emailing Bob (your boss) instead of Bob (your friend).

Google’s blog goes on to add that they have received a very positive response from users who have avoided the embarrassing situation using the “Don’t forget Bob” and “Got the wrong Bob” features.

Well, i have not got into such a situation. So i dont know more about its added advantage.

Have you been benefited by Gmail’s added feature??? kindly give us a comment on your experience with Google’s new “Don’t forget Bob” and “Got the wrong Bob” features.

Samsung Galaxy Player 50

Samsung Galaxy Player 50

We just received an email from TheViralFactory with a link to the newest viral ad by Samsung. Samsung is not new to viral advertising, am sure you all remember the cute girl with a catchy dance ad for Samsung’s Galaxy 580. The new ad for Galaxy Player 50 is really something. Its more of an interactive video!

If you are a regular at YouTube you must already be aware of how interactive videos work. You can actually decide how the video must proceed. You can make choices that will change the flow of the video. So instead of thinking he must have done like so and so you can actually make him do something you like!

Samsung’s Galaxy Player 50 ad is similar. The main scenario is some robbers break into a store. You get to choose who reacts to the crime. There are 5 customers and each customer you choose will let you know about a feature of Galaxy Player 50. Pretty cool, ah ? its funny and educational *if you consider learning about Galaxy Player 50′s features educational*

You can watch the ad in YouTube :

Teen banned from US for abusive email to Obama

Posted by Shane On September - 14 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

A British teenager who had sent an abusive email to US President Barack Obama has been banned for life from visiting America.

According to media reports, Luke Angel, 17, had sent an insulting email to the White House in a drunken state after watching a programme about September 11 attacks on the US.

In his hate email, Angel was abusive of Obama. The FBI intercepted the message and contacted police in the UK.

The local police found the teenager at his home in Silsoe, Bedfordshire, and informed him that he is now on a list of people who are banned from visiting the US, the Daily Mail reported.

The college student, however, remains unapologetic for what he has done and said that he “don’t really care” it.

Luke said: “The police who came round took my picture and told me I was banned from America forever.

“I don’t really care. But my parents are not happy about it.”

A Bedfordshire Police spokesman said: “The individual sent an email to the White House full of abusive and threatening language.

“We were informed by the Metropolitan Police and went to see him. He said, ‘Oh dear, it was me’.”

However, the official said they would not take any criminal action against the youth who sent the email in a drunken state.

This latest case comes a year after computer hacker Gary McKinnon was convicted for hacking into NASA and Pentagon computers.

McKinnon, who committed the crime from his north London home while searching for evidence of alien life, is now facing decades in a US jail.
